The Bundoora library and student lounge is a really lovely and comfy place to study in. There are microwaves in the student lounge where you can heat your food. The microwaves may be a bit tricky so if you don’t know how to use it ask the student union there. There is one proper cafe and one small take away shop but that is about it.

Sport and Recreation are also in the same building as RMIT Student Union and they can help you out with any sporting enquiries you might have. Bundoora campus has a gym, some sporting fields, basketball court and an athletics track

You can even have a picnic or a barbeque outside in the summer. The student union has weekly free meals outside building 204

Although many people complain that there are no cafes nearby there actually are some in the nearby Uni hill factory outlets. and University hill shops. Need cheap cosmetics? There is a discount cosmetics shop in Uni hill factory outlets. Need to post some mail? There is a post office at Uni hill. You just have to walk about 15 mins and its there. Or you can drive to the Bundoora Square shopping centre and have a meal there for cheap.

For many city folk its nice to come up on a nice sunny day. All you need to do is jump on a 86 tram to Bundoora and in an hour you’ll be there. By the end of the day you’ll be hooked on coming here
